  1. We are an accredited Living Wage Employer. We pay £10.55 per hour for unqualified Support Practitioners and £11.55 per hour for qualified staff.
  2. We offer a range of full and part-time contracts. Unlike some social care providers, we never offer zero hour contracts.
  3. We have a generous holiday entitlement of 33 days (pro rata) per year. After five years’ service, holiday entitlement increases to 38 days (pro rata).
  4. We fund the cost of staff undertaking Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) 2 in Social Services and Healthcare.
  5. Wherever possible, we place staff in services which are close to home.
  6. We pay our staff every four weeks, so it’s never too long between pay days.
  7. We enable our staff to save regularly and borrow affordably with Capital Credit Union.
  8. We have a free and confidential employee counselling service to help staff manage and overcome life’s challenges.
  9. We recognise two trade unions – Unison and the Royal College of Nursing. Nearly 60% of our staff are trade union members.
