New Operational Leads for Haddington
ELCAP’s leadership team has been boosted by the recruitment of two new Operational Leads for Haddington. Meg Corner and Justine Giles will manage the charity’ care and support services in the town.
Welcoming their appointment, ELCAP’s Registered Manager, Karen Cowe, said:
“Between them, Justine and Meg have more than 25 years of ELCAP experience. They know our organisation and our values and they understand what high quality services look like.
Importantly, both colleagues bring extensive experience from their time as Support Practitioners. They recognise the needs and ambitions of the individuals we support and are committed to working in partnership with families, health professionals and social work staff.”
Meg took up her new post in February 2022, while Justine joined at the start of June.
Reflecting on her first few months in post, Meg said:
“I am loving getting to grips with the services in my area. Everyone is working well together and helping one another. The individuals we support and our staff are happy and it’s great to see everyone smiling.
Despite being in her new role for only a matter of days, Justine was equally positive:
“I am really looking forward to meeting and working with the individuals we support, their families and my team. As always, our priority is to provide high quality care and support for everyone.”
ELCAP provides care and support for 27 people and employs more than 50 staff in Haddington.
