Our colleague in the hot seat this month is Support Practitioner Meg Corner.

When did you join ELCAP and what were you doing before you joined?

I Joined ELCAP in May 2005. I was a bar manager previously.

What is a typical day at work like?

A typical day for me would consist of administering medication, personal care, accompanying service user to an assigned activity/ies (for that day), possibly attending medical appointments with service user, housework, cooking, paperwork, interacting with service user, updating records.

What’s the best thing about ELCAP?

The best thing about ELCAP is the service users!

And what could we improve?

Not sure on that one!! Get more service users 😂

Where’s your favourite place?

My favourite place is my home, that is where my family is. But, out-with that, is Dubai.

Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us.

I lived my younger years on a farm, in a cottage that had no electricity and no mains sewage! I left at 18 and joined the Army, but my mother still lived there until 1997.
