Care Inspectorate
ELCAP is registered with the Care Inspectorate.
The Care Inspectorate is a scrutiny body which supports improvement. It looks at the quality of care in Scotland to ensure it meets high standards. Where the Care Inspectorate finds that improvement is needed, it supports services to make positive changes.
The Care Inspectorate’s vision is that everyone experiences safe, high-quality care that meets their needs, rights and choices.
ELCAP’s most recent care inspection was in June 2019. We received the following grades:
- Quality of care and support: 5 (Very Good)
- Quality of management and leadership: 5 (Very Good)
