Amy and Kylie join ELCAP’s Leadership Team
ELCAP is pleased to announce two new additions – Amy Aitchison and Kylie Rankin – to its Leadership Team. Both colleagues started work in their new posts on Monday 25 October.
Amy is the new Operational Lead for the Coast, an area which stretches from Prestonpans, to North Berwick, while Kylie will fulfil the same role in Midlothian, where she will manage community-based services and breaks from care.
Reflecting on her experience to date in her new post, Amy said:
“I am looking forward to meeting and working alongside some new and some already familiar faces. I am also looking forward to learning and to overcoming any challenges I may face.
I have already learned so much over the past two weeks – it has been really exciting!
I can chat all day long, so it has been really refreshing to meet more of the individuals we support. I’ve been listening to their stories and sharing ideas on how best to get back into their communities, in a COVID-safe way, to do the things they love.”
Looking forward to her new role, Kylie said:
“After working for around 14 years as a Support Practitioner, I am excited to take this next step in the company and hope to help the organisation grow.
I am looking forward to meeting the individuals we support in Midlothian and their staff, and to getting to know them all.”
Welcoming the latest members of her team, ELCAP’s Registered Manager, Karen Cowe, said:
“I am excited that Amy and Kylie have joined us as Operational Leads at an important time in our organisation’s development. Both will bring enthusiasm and fresh ideas.
Amy and Kylie were both internal candidates who have worked as Support Practitioners for a number of years. They have a great understanding of what the job entails and I wish them every success in their new roles.”
