All the best with your next steps, Shirley
Operational Lead Shirley Ramsay has left ELCAP to re-join Leonard Cheshire as their Quality and Compliance Manager for Scotland. Everyone at ELCAP wishes Shirley all the best with her next steps.
Shirley joined ELCAP from The Scottish Society for Autism in July 2011. Earlier in her career, she worked in a number of positions with Leonard Cheshire.
Reflecting on Shirley’s move, ELCAP Chief Executive, Paul White, said:
“Shirley has undertaken a range of roles in ELCAP’s leadership team, most recently as our Operational Lead for Potters Path and part of Tranent.
Over the years, Shirley has managed services in Dunbar, Midlothian and North Berwick. She is a valued and well-known member of our team and she will be much missed.
While we are sorry to lose Shirley, we are delighted that she has secured a position with a charity which is close to her heart. We wish Shirley every success on the next stage of her career.”
In addition to her work as an Operational Lead, Shirley has played a leading role in ELCAP’s work on EFQM – a globally recognised management framework – and in positive behaviour training.
Leonard Cheshire supports people with disabilities to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability.
