Advisory Council

Our Advisory Council helps ELCAP understand what matters to the individuals who receive our care and support.

If we understand people’s ambitions, needs and preferences, we can enable them to live better, more independent lives within our community.

The Advisory Council agreed that ELCAP should adopt the Charter for Involvement.

The Charter sets out how supported people want to be involved in the support they get, the organisations that provide their services and the wider community.

The Advisory Council nominates three members to our Executive Board.  The current members are Sylvia Archibald, Graham Ford and Lynn Penman.
