Big hearted ELCAP staff have raised over £750 to support individuals with learning disabilities who are affected by the war in Ukraine.
Scottish Learning Disability Week took place between Monday 2 and Sunday 8 May 2022 – and ELCAP marked it in style with a fun-filled event at Woodbine Cottage in Prestonpans.
The Week is an annual event which raises awareness of learning disability. Every year has a different theme and the focus for 2022 was on human rights.
ELCAP has once again achieved high levels of satisfaction in its annual staff survey for 2022, with 92% of colleagues saying they enjoyed working for the charity.
ELCAP’s leadership team has been boosted by the recruitment of two new Operational Leads for Haddington. Meg Corner and Justine Giles will manage the charity’ care and support services in the town.
