What ELCAP Does
ELCAP wants to give people
- The support they need
- The way they want it
- The chance to live the life they want to live
ELCAP are registered with the Care Commission to provide housing support and care at home services. Our registration certificate allows us to provide services to people with a learning disability; physical or sensory impairment; mental health issues; drug & alcohol misuse problems; older people and people who have acquired brain injury. In practice, this means that we can support any children or adults who have a support need.
Some examples of the types of people we support are given here.
ELCAP also operates a 7–bed residential respite service for adults with learning disability in Tranent, East Lothian. Access to this service is through the social work departments in East Lothian & Midlothian councils.
