The trust was established by ELCAP, which is a registered charity, based in the south-east of Scotland,
providing support to people with learning and other disabilities,
and to their family carers. ELCAP's services are
purchased by local authorities on behalf of people who require
support. However, ELCAP also receives gifts and

ELCAP trust keeps such funds completely separate from contract
income, and supports the purchase of items and activities which
would not attract statutory funding.
